The much-loved annual Benburb Duck Race is set to make a splash once again this Easter Monday, bringing families, locals and visitors together for an afternoon of fun at the River Blackwater at Benburb Priory.
With exciting prizes, food stalls and a great community atmosphere, the event raises vital funds for essential upgrades and maintenance across the historic Benburb Priory grounds.
The Benburb Duck Derby takes place this Easter Monday (6th April) at 1.00pm at the River Blackwater at the White Bridge, Benburb Priory.
Set against one of the Priory’s most picturesque landmarks, the event offers a standout Easter experience, combining riverside scenery, community spirit and family-friendly fun in the heart of Benburb.
What to Expect at the Benburb Duck Derby
The Duck Derby promises a lively afternoon with something for everyone.
The centrepiece is the high-energy duck race, where brightly coloured ducks race along the River Blackwater for the chance to win great prizes. Around the riverbank, visitors can enjoy local food stalls and refreshments, soak up the atmosphere and cheer on their chosen duck.
