In Pictures: Benburb Priory’s spooktacular pumpkin-picking adventure

Guests to Benburb Priory were greeted by an autumnal display of vibrant pumpkins, as well as the promise of a “spooktacular pumpkin-picking adventure”.

Under the guidance of the Priory’s “head pumpkin picker,” visitors were invited to navigate the patch and choose their perfect pumpkin — while trying to avoid being caught by the cheekily introduced “Mr Bruce”, the so-called pumpkin millionaire at the manor house.

The pumpkin patch offering was complemented by a series of themed activities:

Scary Cellar: Hidden beneath the Priory grounds, this area featured spiders, skeletons and a “famous singing ghost” to explore.

Carving Courtyard: A space where kids and adults could get hands-on, decorating their pumpkins and interacting with animated talking pumpkins.

Spooky Disco & Pumpkin Soup: While the younger guests enjoyed a themed disco, grown-ups could warm up with a bowl of fresh pumpkin soup.
