A visit from the Military History Society of Ireland

Benburb Priory very recently had the pleasure of welcoming The Military History Society of Ireland (The Irish Sword); a prestigious group of Irish history experts and enthusiasts.

The weather could not have been more perfect, as Jimmy Kane, Chair of The O’Neill’s Historical Society, took the group of more than thirty people on a guided tour of the estate, including O’Neill’s Castle, and Museum and Library. The party also visited St. Patrick’s Church of Ireland, situated at the entrance of the estate.

An excellent day was had all-round, and we greatly thank everyone who came along, and who assisted in any way!
