Call for Creative Facilitators – Benburb Priory 2026 Classes Programme

Benburb Priory invites artists, makers, and creative facilitators to take part in our 2026 Classes Programme – a year-long celebration of craft, creativity, and community.
Set within the historic and atmospheric grounds of Benburb Priory, nestled along the banks of the River Blackwater in County Tyrone, this unique setting offers an inspiring backdrop for creative exploration.
Surrounded by woodland walks, heritage architecture, and the tranquillity of the Priory’s gardens, participants and facilitators alike will experience a sense of connection, reflection, and artistic renewal.
About the Programme
Throughout 2026, Benburb Priory will host a series of hands-on workshops designed to engage participants in both traditional and contemporary craft practices. The programme aims to celebrate the timeless skills of the maker while nurturing innovation and personal expression of all art genres.
We are now welcoming proposals from experienced facilitators across a wide range of recognised craft and creative disciplines, including but not limited to:
- Ceramics
- Textiles
- Jewellery & Horology
- Metalwork & Blacksmithing
- Glass
- Woodwork
- Stone Carving & Sculpture
- Basketry & Willow
- Paper Arts
- Creative Writing
- Dance & Movement
- Multi-Media
Workshops will be programmed throughout the year, catering to diverse audiences—from beginners seeking new skills to experienced makers deepening their craft practice. We welcome applications to include participation from all age groups and abilities.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking passionate creators with a genuine enthusiasm for sharing their knowledge and engaging with a vibrant community of learners. Ideal facilitators will:
