£5.00
On Thursday 16th February at 7pm, Benburb Priory will welcome Déaglán Ó Doibhlin to speak on the topic of Benburb’s local Gaelic place names, poems, and airs.
Déaglán is an Irish language officer with Mid-Ulster Council. For this unique evening, he will be accompanied by Aoibheann Devlin, who will perform several beloved airs associated with the local area, on the wire-strung harp.
This event should prove to be of considerable interest to the local community, historians, and Irish language enthusiasts. It will provide a welcome celebration of place. The Stables Café at the Priory will be open for attendees before this event.
